Marvin Emnes

Remembered by Swans fans for his match winning goal against Cardiff City back in November 2010, Marvin Emnes is now a fully-fledged member of Garry Monk’s side after moving from Middlesbrough last summer.

Having arrived in England from Sparta Rotterdam in 2008 for £3.2 million, he has made a name for himself in England as a versatile forward who has an eye for goal. But, now he’s a full member of the Swans side having linked up with the Welsh club once more after he made his move permanent after a second loan stint at the club.

More Abou Marvin Emnes

Marvin Emnes has had three separate spells with the Swans, but how much do you know about the 27 year-old?

The attacker failed to make a valuable contribution last season however, as he featured just 17 times with 14 of those league appearances coming from the bench. He failed to score any league goals, but netted once in the Capital One Cup as he was mostly an impact substitute for Monk’s side. But, these appearances may diminish next year as the club have reinforced themselves with another attacker in the form of Eder.
