A relatively new member of the Swans setup, Jordi Amat is a centre half who has been at the club for just two seasons. A young and enthusiastic member of the side, Amat joined the club for £2.5 million from Espanyol, and has since gone on to make 27 Premier League appearances.
The former Spanish Under-21 international has found game time a little limited at the Liberty with Federico Fernandez and Ashley Williams ahead of him in the pecking order, but the player himself is seemingly happy in South Wales having signed a contract extension back in March.

Amat struggled for game time last year and racked up just 10 league appearances all year, with Fernandez and Williams blocking his path into the first team. He is considered third choice at the club currently, but will face stern competition from Kyle Bartley for the role next season. But, the 23 year-old may need to calm down in his defensive duties if he is to impress as he made three defensive errors and collected a total of three cautions in just 10 appearances last season, this in comparison to just one error in 17 appearances in the previous year.
