Dwight Tiendalli

It has been a strange tale for Dwight Tiendalli at Swansea City, as just 24 months ago it seemed he was heading out of the Liberty exit door when his contract ran out. However, he was handed a new deal and despite his limited appearances, still remains at the club to this day.

Brought in for cover for Ben Davies, when Neil Taylor unfortunately broke his ankle back in 2012, Tiendalli has made just 27 league appearances for the Welsh club. He made just three league appearances last season and seems to have lost his place at the club all together since the arrival of new left-back Franck Tabanou.

More About Dwight Tiendalli

Dwight Tiendalli joined the Swans as a free agent back in 2012, after being released by Dutch outfit FC Twente. Want to know more about the 29 year-old?

Despite featuring just three times last season for the Swans, Tiendalli’s stats remain mightily impressive. His pass accuracy was 90% in his three appearances, and he even managed to create two chances for his team-mates. His discipline was perfect and he made no errors during his limited game time. He may find his stats work in his favour if he finds himself looking for a new club this summer.
