Jack Cork

Jack Cork is a relatively new signing at the Liberty having only arrived from Southampton in January. However, the midfielder has impressed in his six months at the club, making 15 appearances, and lasting the duration for 14 of those outings. At just 26 years-old, Cork is likely to be a mainstay in the team next year as he slots into the defensive midfield role. He is a physical presence, standing at 6 foot, and offers a more physical protection for his back four than little Leon Britton. The former Southampton man will be hoping to build on an impressive start to his Swans career.

More About Jack Cork

Garry Monk was clearly impressed with Cork in his first six months at the club, as in the 15 games he featured in, he lasted the full 90 minutes in 14 of them. After displacing Leon Britton in the side, Cork lived up to the billing as he had a pass success rate of 85%, making the transition from magical Britton to new man Cork. However, he showed he has attacking qualities in his locker too as he created seven chances for his new teammates and even chipped in with one goal in the second half of the season he spent in South Wales.
