Swansea City travel to Villa Park this afternoon as they face Aston Villa in a crucial Premier League fixture.
Both sides go into the contest in poor form. The Swans haven’t won in five, and the Villans have lost their last five. Swansea were beaten 1-0 at home by Stoke City on Monday, whilst Tim Sherwood’s Villa fell to a 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge last Saturday.
After a superb start to the campaign, the Swans are looking for their first win in six since beating Manchester United 2-1 in late August. Villa have to go back even further for their last league win, as they beat Bournemouth 1-0 on the opening day of the season.
Both managers are under pressure to get their seasons back on track. Admittedly, Sherwood is under more pressure than Monk, but the Swans faithful will be expecting their manager to turn things around sooner rather than later.
We take a look at 7 key facts ahead of Saturday’s crucial contest at Villa Park.
