Swansea City are back in Premier League action this Monday night as they welcome Stoke City to the Liberty Stadium.
As for Garry Monk’s Swans, they haven’t tasted victory since beating Manchester United 2-1 in late August. They could really do with a win on Monday evening to get their season back on track.
However, the former Arsenal, Aston Villa and England winger Paul Merson predicts the Swans to get beat on their own patch by the Potters. This is what the Sky Sports man had to say;
“Stoke are playing well, and were very good at Villa a fortnight ago. I’m going 2-1 to the visitors with Marko Arnautovic, who scored a couple for Austria last week, to get the first goal.”
Despite Merson’s prediction of doom, Swansea will fancy their chances against Stoke. The last time these two met, Monk’s side ran out 2-0 winners in May – the Swans faithful would love a repeat result this Monday.
