FC Dallas have told Swansea City to forget about a January approach for their Colombian winger Fabian Castillo.
However, Garry Monk’s hopes of adding the talented 23-year-old to his squad in January have been dealt a huge blow. Dallas’ president Dan Hunt has told the Swans that their star man is not for sale at any cost. He said;
“We have Fabian Castillo signed through 2019 and we are not interested in selling key pieces of this franchise. We are trying to build a champion for many years to come starting with one this year.
“Fabian is a terrific player and I can promise you this isn’t the last rumour we will hear.”
Swansea will have to look elsewhere if they want to bolster their squad in the wide areas. However, Monk isn’t short of options, with Jefferson Montero, Andre Ayew and Wayne Routledge all at his disposal.
