A Look Back at Swansea’s Last 3 Encounters Against Stoke

Stoke City 1-1 Swansea City – February 2014

Garry Monk was taking charge of his first Swansea City away game when the Swans travelled to the Britannia Stadium in February 2014.

The game finished 1-1, and in truth, it was probably a fair result. Swansea, as usual, dominated the ball, but Stoke carved out the better chances.

Stoke striker Peter Crouch gave the Potters the lead after just 17 minutes, but defender Chico Flores netted a deserved equaliser seven minutes into the second half.

Although this was billed as a relegation scrap, both Stoke and Garry Monk’s Swansea City survived comfortably in the end.
