After all the delights of international football, Swansea City are back in Premier League action this Monday night.
The Swans welcome Mark Hughes’ Stoke City to the Liberty Stadium for a huge Monday night Premier League clash. Garry Monk’s side will be looking for their first league win in five games, after losing two and drawing two of their last four fixtures.
As for the Potters, they will arrive in South Wales in high spirits and full of confidence, having just won their last three games on the bounce in all competitions. After starting slowly, Stoke’s season has really kicked into gear and they now sit three places and just a point behind the Swans in the Premier League table.
Over the years, these two sides have had some very entertaining and tight affairs – there’s also been a fair bit of controversy in recent games. Since Swansea were promoted to the Premier League, the Swans and Stoke have both won three games each.
We take a look back at the last three encounters between Swansea City and Stoke City and try to predict Monday’s outcome.
