Since arriving at White Hart Lane, the 22-year-old has made 20 Premier League appearances for the Lilywhites, and has been used regularly in Spurs’ Europa League exploits.
Speaking ahead of this Saturday’s vital Premier League clash, Ben Davies spoke highly of his former club, and has revealed that despite losing two of the last three games, the Swans are one of the hardest teams to play in the Premier League. The defender told Tottenham Hotspur’s official website;
“They are going through a rough patch at the moment and will want to rectify that at home, but we go there looking to pick up the three points. They will also be determined to beat us having not beaten Spurs yet in the Premier League. They will be up for it, so will we and we’ll be aiming for the win.
“They are a very good side and, when their tails are up, one of the hardest teams in the league to play against when they are on song and popping the ball around. They’ve had a couple of disappointing results and we’ll go there and try to make it as difficult as possible for them.”
Swansea will be hoping that they can finally get the long-awaited win against Spurs under their belts and get their season back on track this Saturday.
