Swansea Above Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea & Liverpool in Shot Accuracy Chart

Garry Monk’s Swansea City have enjoyed a very good start to the new Premier League campaign.

accurDespite not scoring and picking up just one point from their last two outings, the Swans are currently seventh in the table, having taken nine points from their opening six games.

Striker Bafetimbi Gomis has had an extra special start the season. The Frenchman netted in each of the first four games of the campaign, which includes the winner against Manchester United recently. WhoScored.com have compiled a list of every Premier League clubs shooting statistics, and the Swans top the pile for their shot accuracy so far. This is what TEAMtalk (on behalf of WhoScored) said about Swansea’s impressive stats;

“There’s a new leader when it comes to shot accuracy, with Swansea heading the pile having hit the target with 41.2% of their shots at goal, and top scorer Bafetimbi Gomis (11) hitting the most shots on target in the league.”

Even though Swansea have had a good start to the campaign, Garry Monk’s side have lost two and drew one of their last three games in all competitions – the Swans boss will want to address that as soon as possible.
