After Jefferson Montero‘s stunning start to the new season it was inevitable that he was going to attract interest from elsewhere.
German giants Bayern Munich have been linked with the pacey winger – however, the Swans will undoubtedly have no interest in selling their Ecuadorian star.

Montero has started the new Premier League campaign like a house on fire. After giving Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic such a torrid time in the opening game, the 25-year-old ran rings around Newcastle United’s Daryl Janmaat last Saturday, which resulted in the Magpies defender being sent off before half-time.
In the wake of Jefferson Montero’s faultless start, it’s no surprise to see the likes of Bayern Munich sniffing around the Swansea ace. However, Garry Monk will no doubt do everything he can to keep him at the Liberty and the Swansea supporters certainly won’t want to see him leave.
Bayern interested in Montero?! NOOOOOO….

Montero is an outstanding player…but have you seen that Bayern squad? He'd find it hard to get on the bench. #twitterjacks

Since arriving from Morelia last summer, Jefferson Montero has quickly become a fans favourite in South Wales. The winger showed glimpses of his outstanding ability last term, but this season, Montero has been one of the early standout players of the Premier League so far.
Swansea will be desperate for Montero to stay a the Liberty Stadium, and the way he’s playing at present, surely he would want to stay.
