The former England international full-back Stuart Pearce has predicted how he feels the Premier League table is going to finish this season.
Stuart Pearce, who revealed last term that Garry Monk could have easily won the Manager of the Year award ahead of Jose Mourinho, has predicted the Swans will finish in a respectable 10th place this season. Despite finishing in a record-breaking 8th position last term, a 10th place finish would undoubtedly be another excellent season for the Swans.
Since gaining promotion to the top flight under the management of Brendan Rodgers in 2011, Swansea have finished 11th, 9th, 12th and 8th respectively.
Pearce has also predicted that Swansea’s opening day opponents Chelsea will retain their title, with Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United making up the top four respectively. Leicester City, Norwich City and Bournemouth make up his three relegated sides.
Many people have predicted the Swans to have another good season, just this time it won’t be too surprising if they do.
