Swansea City are reportedly favourites to land Galatasary midfielder Blerim Dzemali, according to HITC.
The Switzerland international, who’s played for the likes of Bolton Wanderers, Parma and Napoli, has reportedly been on Garry Monk’s radar for quite some time. And now it looks as though the Swans have edged ahead in the race to secure his signature.
The 29-year-old signed for the Turkish giants last summer, but has struggled to adapt to life in Turkey and has been tipped to make the move away. Blerim Dzemali has only featured 20 times in total for Galatasaray, netting just once.
The Swiss midfielder previously had a spell in the Premier League with Bolton Wanderers. However, a horrific knee injury restricted him to just one appearance for the Trotters during his time in England.
Considering the Swans already have some terrific talent in midfield, it’s difficult to see where Blerim Dzemali will fit in at the Liberty, that’s if indeed Swansea’s interest does turn out to be genuine.
