League One Club Eyeing Up Swansea Defender

League One club Crewe Alexandra are reportedly eyeing up a move for Swansea City defender Stephen Kingsley, according to the South Wales Evening Post.

Kingsley arrived at the Liberty Stadium from Scottish Championship club Falkirk last summer – however he’s yet to feature for Garry Monk’s first-team. With the summer arrival of Franck Tabanou from French Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne, as well as first-choice left-back Neil Taylor recently signing a new and improved deal, the 20-year-old’s days in SA1 look to be numbered.

The defender was also loaned out to Yeovil Town last season, where he went onto make 12 appearances for the Glovers in a variety of different positions. Kingsley impressed during his time at Huish Park, but couldn’t help the club from being relegated to League Two.

The left-back is also reportedly attracting interest from a few unnamed Championship clubs. However, a decision on Kingsley’s future in South Wales is still to be decided, with the Swans expected to clear up his future next week.
