Spanish La Liga outfit Real Betis are reportedly showing interest in Swansea City centre-back Jordi Amat, according to reports.
Amat, who arrived from Espanyol two summers ago, is reportedly attracting interest from Betis. The 23-year-old is very familiar with La Liga, after also spending time on loan at Rayo Vallecano whilst at Espanyol.
Despite Betis’ reported interest, Swansea are expected to turn down any potential move for their Spanish defender. Garry Monk has recently gone on record to say that he’s delighted with his squad, and he doesn’t expect any departures before the start of the new campaign.
Amat has been recovering from an injury that kept him out of the latter part of last season. The former Spain U21 international has played 42 times for the Swans in all competitions.
Although he is sure to be third choice behind the centre-back pairing of skipper Ashley Williams and Federico Fernandez, Jordi Amat remains an integral part of Garry Monk’s squad.
