Swans boss Garry Monk has revealed that he’s very happy with his summer signings and he can’t see anymore coming in before the start of the new Premier League season.
Swansea have done some superb transfer business this summer, and Monk believes that the squad is fully complete. Andre Ayew, Franck Tabanou, Kristoffer Nordfeldt and Eder have all been brought in to bolster the Swans’ already extremely talented squad.
“We said we wanted to get the right targets in early as possible to allow us to prepare as we are doing now, with a full squad for as long as possible,”
“We have brought four players in this summer. There could possibly be some more but it’s highly likely not to happen and there is nothing imminent.”
The Swans have certainly been one of the busier Premier League clubs since last season drew to a close – and Monk is still keeping his eyes peeled, but believes nothing will happen.
“We are still looking at all positions — you have got to pre-empt things and be ready for anything because things can go from nothing to something in a day. But I don’t see too many more coming in, if any. I am very happy with the squad I have got.”
