Swansea City are closing in on Bradford City’s teenage striker Oliver McBurnie, according to breaking reports from Sky Sports.
The 19-year-old is reportedly undergoing a medical at Swansea City, and is expected to sign a deal at the Liberty Stadium very soon.
McBurnie netted five times in 14 appearances for Chester last season, and has been tipped for a bright future in the game.
The teenager rose to fame in 2013, when he won the golden boot in Manchester United’s Milk Cup win. McBurnie has also been capped by the Scotland U19 side, netting once in four appearances for the Scots.
McBurnie has played 15 times for the Bantams since making his debut in November 2013. Despite yet to score a goal for Bradford, the striker is highly-thought of at Valley Parade. If the deal does go through, McBurnie will be Swansea sixth capture of the summer.
The Swans are currently in Germany ready for their first pre-season encounter against Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday.
